Shreveport, La — What began as a missing persons case ended in devastating loss after authorities identified a young woman killed in a fiery crash on Interstate 49.

Jessica Huff, 26, of Conway, Ark., was reported missing by loved ones, unaware that she had already lost her life in the early hours of Sunday morning. The wreck, which claimed her life, occurred just after 4:40 a.m. on February 2, 2025, near Huckaby Road in north-central Caddo Parish.
Authorities say Huff’s vehicle veered off the road, crashed through a fence into a pasture, and struck a tree before bursting into flames. Tragically, she did not survive.
For hours—perhaps even days—her loved ones searched, hoping for news that she was safe. Instead, their worst fears were realized when the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office confirmed her identity. An autopsy has been ordered as the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Jessica Huff’s life was cut short in a way no one could have imagined, leaving a hole in the hearts of those who loved her. Now, instead of welcoming her home, they are left grieving a future that will never be.
Our deepest prayers are with her family and friends during this unimaginable time.
