Two Men slain in shootings identified by Caddo Parish Coroner.
The Caddo Parish Coroner’s office has named two men killed by gunfire in separate incidents on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
Keithville resident Billy Doyle, 41, was outside a gas station in the 4300 block of Linwood Avenue when he was struck by gunfire just after 4:30 p.m. Mr. Doyle was deceased at the scene.
Just before 5:20 p.m., a passing Shreveport Fire Department ambulance in the 3500 block of Milam Street was flagged down by a civilian who alerted medics to a man who had been shot. Trevion Marshall, 24, of Shreveport was transported to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds at 5:44 p.m.
Autopsies were ordered for each victim.
The deaths remain under investigation by Shreveport police and mark the 32nd and 33rd homicides in Caddo Parish to date in 2024, and the 29th and 30th in Shreveport proper in that period.
