BOSSIER PARISH, La — A retirement ceremony was held in honor of Lieutenant Walt Hollis to celebrate his retirement from the Bossier Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Whittington and staff, along with family and friends, gathered to celebrate his retirement at the Bossier Parish Courthouse on Tuesday, June 18th.
Lt. Hollis retires with 30 years of service with the Sheriff’s Office. During his career, Lt. Hollis worked in Dispatch, Patrol, as an FBI Task Force member, Narcotics, Special Investigations, White Collar Crimes, and as the Special Services Coordinator at the Viking Drive Substation.
