Dubberly, La — Two local men have been arrested in connection with a shooting at a bonfire party in Dubberly that left six people wounded, including two in critical condition.

Webster Parish Sheriff Jason Parker identified the suspects as 22-year-old Jacolby Tyrone Snell of Doyline and 23-year-old Zyan Adominick-Jaire Stanley of Minden. Stanley faces six counts of attempted first-degree murder, while Snell has been charged as an accessory after the fact and with two counts of modifying a pistol into a machine gun.
Stanley, accompanied by his attorney, surrendered to authorities on Tuesday afternoon. Snell was arrested Monday evening after detectives interviewed him and obtained evidence linking him to the crime.

Both suspects are being held at the Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center. Stanley’s bond is set at $900,000, while Snell’s bond totals $120,000.
Sheriff Parker commended investigators for their efforts, stating, “Our detectives had reasonable suspicion of Snell’s involvement. We retrieved data showing he had knowledge of the crime and assisted in hiding the firearm used in the shootings.”

During a search of Snell’s residence in Doyline, detectives recovered two pistols modified with Glock switches, which convert firearms into fully automatic weapons.
The shooting occurred late Saturday night, January 11, at an unpermitted bonfire event on rural property along LA Highway 371. Despite the gunfire, hundreds of attendees remained at the scene when deputies arrived.
Sheriff Parker also provided an update on the victims, stating, “The two individuals initially reported in critical condition now appear to have non-life-threatening injuries. We hope for their full recovery.”
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are working to determine whether additional suspects were involved.
