SHREVEPORT, LA – The Shreveport Police Property Crimes Division is asking for the public’s help in locating Megan Marie Walters, who is wanted for Motor Vehicle Theft and Extortion after allegedly refusing to return a borrowed car and demanding money from the owner.

According to police, the incident began on February 18, 2025, when the victim allowed Walters, an acquaintance, to borrow his 2022 black Chevrolet Malibu from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

By February 19, 2025, authorities had entered the vehicle into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as stolen. Detectives swiftly located the car in Bossier City, but Walters refused to cooperate with investigators.
