Shreveport, LA — The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) is seeking assistance from the public in locating a suspect involved in a property crime investigation related to the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Incident Details:
On December 23, 2024, SPD detectives were contacted regarding the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. According to the complaint, the victim allowed Samantha Jean Williams, 28, to borrow their 2012 Toyota Camry for the day. However, Williams failed to return the vehicle as agreed. The complainant made multiple attempts to contact Williams regarding the vehicle, providing detectives with evidence of their communications.
Arrest Warrant Issued:
After investigating the incident, SPD detectives obtained an arrest warrant on January 6, 2025, for Samantha Jean Williams on one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
