Shreveport, LA – Authorities are actively searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store on Monkhouse Drive. The incident occurred on the morning of September 21, 2024, at approximately 8:51 a.m.
Shreveport Police officers responded to the call and spoke with the store manager, who reported that a Black male suspect entered the store, displayed a small handgun, and demanded money from the cash register. After obtaining the cash, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit arrived shortly after and reviewed the store’s surveillance footage, which captured clear images of the suspect. The Shreveport Police Department has now released these images to the public, seeking assistance in identifying the individual.
