SHREVEPORT, La. – A Shreveport man who admitted to running a meth lab out of a storage unit was sentenced Monday, July 28, to 13 years in prison in Caddo District Court.

Thomas Lee Davis, 50, pleaded guilty in May to operating a clandestine drug lab. District Judge Erin Leigh Waddell Garrett handed down the sentence.
The charges stem from a February 1, 2023, investigation when Caddo Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity at a secure self-storage facility on Mansfield Road. Narcotics agents discovered numerous items used to manufacture methamphetamine inside a storage unit leased by Davis. The materials were capable of producing over 110 grams of meth. Davis had also left his debit cards and lab equipment at the scene days before deputies arrived.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Jasmine Cooper and Erica Jefferson. Davis was represented by attorneys Charles Parr and Madison Crusan.
Case number: 393732.
