Shreveport, LA — Shreveport police responded to a shooting at Veterans Park on Clyde Fant Parkway on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at approximately 7:20 p.m.
Officers were dispatched after reports of multiple gunshots in the area.
Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel from the Shreveport Fire Department quickly arrived on the scene and transported the victim to Ochsner LSU Hospital for treatment.
A witness reported hearing at least seven gunshots, followed by a male screaming for help. Moments later, the witness said they heard a vehicle speeding away from the scene.
Authorities have not yet released details on the victim’s condition or the severity of their injuries.
No information has been provided about a possible suspect or motive in the shooting.
