SHREVEPORT, La — A tense domestic disturbance in Shreveport’s 4100 block of Reily Lane led to the arrest of a 42-year-old man on Friday, September 13th. Demarcus Little was taken into custody after allegedly threatening family members with a knife.
Shreveport Police responded to the call, arriving to find Little still armed and refusing to follow officers’ commands, further intensifying the already dangerous situation. Despite the threat, police managed to subdue Little with minimal force, preventing serious injury to those involved.
Little has been charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest. Authorities have praised the swift response and professionalism of the officers, commending their ability to safely resolve a high-risk situation and protect the community.
