BOSSIER CITY, La — Bossier City officials have announced the permanent closure of a section of Shed Road near the railway crossing just west of Benton Road.
The closure, mandated by Union Pacific Railroad, took effect on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.
Residents and motorists will no longer be able to use Shed Road to cross the railway, and all traffic must now use Highway 80 to access properties west of the railway crossing.

The city expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the closure, emphasizing that it was a required measure by the railroad company.
