Music mogul Sean Combs, widely known as P. Diddy, has been arrested following the unsealing of a sweeping indictment that spans over 15 years, detailing his alleged involvement in a sprawling criminal organization referred to as the “Combs Enterprise.” The indictment outlines a series of shocking accusations, including sex trafficking, forced labor, narcotics offenses, kidnapping, and arson.
The charges against Combs, also known by several aliases including “Puff Daddy,” “Diddy,” and “Love,” suggest that the Combs Enterprise operated as a criminal organization beginning in or around 2008 and continuing through the date of the indictment’s filing. The indictment claims the group engaged in various illicit activities, including prostitution, coercion, obstruction of justice, and acts of violence.
According to the unsealed documents, the Combs Enterprise’s objectives included enabling Combs and others to commit crimes ranging from sexual violence to narcotics distribution while maintaining absolute loyalty among members through intimidation and threats. The indictment further alleges that Combs used violence, including physical assaults, kidnapping, and arson, to enforce control and protect the organization from law enforcement.
The investigation into Combs intensified in March 2024, when law enforcement conducted searches at his Miami and Los Angeles residences. Authorities reportedly seized narcotics and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant, described as “Freak Off supplies.”
The arrest marks a dramatic turn in the career of one of hip-hop’s most influential figures, as the indictment suggests a long history of criminal activity hidden behind his public persona. More details are expected to emerge as the case unfolds.
