BOSSIER CITY, La. – An individual is deceased following an officer-involved shooting early Monday morning at the Southern Living Mobile Home Park in the 5300 block of E. Texas Street.
The incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. on February 3, 2025. Residents reported hearing gunfire, followed by sirens and a heavy presence of police and emergency responders.
According to preliminary reports, officers with the Bossier City Police Department (BCPD) were involved in a shooting that resulted in a death. Details on what led to the confrontation have not yet been released.
Louisiana State Police are now on the scene assisting with the investigation, which is standard procedure in officer-involved shootings.
As of 7:00 a.m., authorities remained at the location collecting evidence. It is unclear if any officers were injured.
