Shreveport, La — The Shreveport Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Carlos Franklin, who is wanted for a violent domestic incident.
On January 19, 2025, officers responded to a report of domestic violence. The victim stated that her live-in boyfriend, Carlos Franklin, struck her in the face with a closed fist, causing a laceration inside her bottom lip.
The victim’s 8-year-old son was present during the assault, and she is currently pregnant.
SPD Domestic Violence Detectives have been in contact with the victim and confirmed that she is nearing childbirth.
As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant has been issued for Franklin on the following charges:
• Domestic Abuse Battery Upon a Pregnant Victim
• Domestic Abuse Battery – Child Endangerment
