BOSSIER CITY, La — On Sunday, June 16, 2024 around 10:00am the Bossier City Police Department was dispatched to the 2200 block of E. Texas at the Beacon Motel in reference to a shooting.
While responding, BCPD Officers were notified that a male, believed to be 36 years-old, had drove himself to Willis Knighton North in Bossier City seeking help.
He was later transported to Oschner LSU Hospital by BCFD to be treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his lower back side.
BCPD Public Information Officer Louis Johnson tells Love Shreveport-Bossier Media that this shooting is still in the early stages of the investigation and no arrest have been made at this time.
