Shreveport, La. – The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal stabbing that occurred late Sunday, February 16, 2025, in the Werner Park neighborhood.
Darcy Hicks II, 37, of Byram, Mississippi, was fatally stabbed while inside the home of a female acquaintance in the 3000 block of Morningside Drive. Hicks was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:58 p.m.
The Shreveport Police Department is actively investigating the incident. Hicks’ death marks the sixth homicide in Shreveport and Caddo Parish this year.
