Shreveport, La — A Shreveport man, Jaiquane Niamathalli, was arrested today, January 6, 2025, after being wanted in connection to a domestic violence incident that occurred on November 17, 2024.
According to police reports, at approximately 11:30 AM, Niamathalli was accused of using intentional force or violence against his girlfriend without her consent. The assault took place in the presence of Niamathalli’s juvenile sister, who is under 13 years old.
A relative of the victim witnessed the incident, and the victim was subsequently transported to LSU Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Following an investigation and review of the evidence, authorities obtained an arrest warrant for Niamathalli, charging him with Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment.
He was booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
