Shreveport Police Department detectives have arrested Juadarius Hudson in connection with a violent domestic incident reported on November 20, 2024.
At approximately 4:00AM on the day of the incident, officers responded to a residence in the 4200 block of Cadbury Court.
According to the victim, who is pregnant with Hudson’s child, he strangled her with both hands during an altercation, impeding her ability to breathe. It was confirmed that Hudson was aware of the pregnancy at the time.
The incident occurred at the home of the victim’s friend, who witnessed the assault and intervened. Additionally, three children—ages 11, 6, and 10 months — were present during the attack, compounding the severity of the situation.
On January 3, 2025, Hudson was taken into custody by Shreveport Police on outstanding warrants related to the case.
He is currently being held at the Caddo Correctional Center on the following charges:
Battery of a Dating Partner – Strangulation (Felony)
Battery of a Dating Partner – Pregnant Victim
Three counts of Dating Partner Abuse – Child Endangerment
No bond has been set at this time and authorities are continuing their investigation into the case.
