CADDO PARISH, La — On Sunday, July 21, 2024 shortly after 9:00 PM, emergency units from Caddo Fire District #4 and the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident at the intersection of Preston RD and Keatchie-Marshall RD.
The incident involved a rollover accident involving an 18-wheeler.
Upon arrival, responders found a male occupant trapped and partially ejected from the cab of the 18-wheeler.
They quickly initiated extrication using hydraulic tools from AMKUS Rescue Systems, along with hand tools.
Paramedics from CFD 4 then transported the patient to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport with life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation, and fortunately, no other vehicles were involved in the incident.

CADDO PARISH, La — El domingo 21 de julio de 2024, poco después de las 9:00 PM, unidades de emergencia del Distrito de Bomberos #4 de Caddo y de la Oficina del Sheriff de la Parroquia de Caddo respondieron a un incidente en la intersección de Preston RD y Keatchie-Marshall RD.
El incidente involucró un accidente de vuelco de un camión de 18 ruedas.
Al llegar, los socorristas encontraron a un hombre atrapado y parcialmente expulsado de la cabina del camión de 18 ruedas.
Inmediatamente iniciaron la extracción utilizando herramientas hidráulicas de AMKUS Rescue Systems, junto con herramientas manuales.
Paramédicos de CFD 4 luego transportaron al paciente al Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport con heridas que amenazaban su vida.
La causa del accidente aún está bajo investigación y, afortunadamente, no hubo otros vehículos involucrados en el incidente.
