BOSSIER PARISH, La — On Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 2:50pm, Bossier Parish Fire District 1 units were dispatched to the area of Highway 80 and Hummingbird Lane for a piece of logging equipment on fire.
BPFD 1 units arrived to find the shear heavily involved in fire and quickly realized they would have trouble accessing the fire.
Units laid 400 Ft of attacking line and it took approx 15 minutes to get the fire knocked down.

3 Engines and 1 Rescue responded. Bossier Parish Emergency Medical Service responded to provide rehab for our guys.
There were no injuries reported.
