SHREVEPORT, La — On Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 10:50pm the Shreveport Police responded to the Wendy’s parking lot on Pines Road in reference to an armed car-jacking.
Upon arrival, SPD located a male victim in the parking lot who stated he had been robbed and carjacked at gunpoint by multiple individuals.

The victim, who provided a statement to police in the parking lot of Wendy’s, recounted that he had met a woman on Instagram. They agreed to meet in the Walmart parking lot on Westport Avenue. However, their meeting took a dangerous turn when the woman stopped in the Wendy’s parking lot, claiming her vehicle had a problem.
