Caddo Parish, La — Caddo Parish authorities have arrested a Northwood High School security officer on a charge of simple battery following an incident involving a student.
According to Caddo Parish Sheriff Henry Whitehorn Sr., 46-year-old Hosie Thomas of Shreveport was taken into custody after an investigation led by Detective Roosevelt Tadlock. Thomas was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center, with bond set at $200.

The incident occurred on February 26, shortly before 10:30 a.m., when a 17-year-old female student was reportedly creating a disturbance.
