SHREVEPORT, La. – The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has identified a Bossier City man who was fatally struck by multiple vehicles while attempting to cross Interstate 20 earlier this month.
Promise Lee Loyd, 29, of Scott Street, was hit in the westbound lanes near mile marker 14 on February 23, 2025. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene at 4:01 a.m.
Authorities confirmed Loyd’s identity through fingerprint analysis.

The Shreveport Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident, and an autopsy has been ordered.
