BIENVILLE, La — Last week Bienville Parish Sheriff deputies participated in several scenarios one of which is pictured below (injured deputy).
Other scenarios included answering alarms and disturbances, response to robberies and execution of felony arrest warrants.
Training topics included de-escalation techniques, situational awareness, building searches, providing life saving aid and use of less lethal and lethal force.

All POST-certified personnel are required to participate in the training which is conducted by inhouse instructors.
