SHREVEPORT, La. – On April 8, 2025, Shreveport Police responded to multiple reports of gunfire Tuesday evening, with the incident occurring around 10:00 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 7000 block of Fern Avenue.
During the investigation, officers identified Aidan Yarcho as the suspect. According to authorities, Yarcho appeared to be heavily intoxicated and was captured on video discharging a firearm.
Police later confirmed that Yarcho is an active member of the United States Air Force.

He was taken into custody and booked into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of Illegal Use of a Firearm.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident. This case remains under investigation.
