SHREVEPORT, La. (March 26, 2025) – Shreveport Police have made an arrest in a violent assault case that occurred in the 2400 block of Portland Avenue.
On February 18, 2025, Shreveport Police Department Violent Crimes Detectives began an investigation after learning that Breonika Moore had attacked a victim with a long wooden stick, striking the victim multiple times in the head, causing them to lose consciousness.
Detectives worked quickly to gather evidence, and on March 25, 2025, an arrest warrant was issued for Moore, charging her with Aggravated Second Degree Battery.

On March 26, 2025, SPD Warrant Unit members located and arrested Moore without incident.
The victim sustained serious injuries but is expected to fully recover.
