Arrest Made in Keithville Middle School Alleged Molestation Case
SHREVEPORT, La — The Shreveport Police Department has made an arrest in a alleged molestation case involving an administrator at Keithville Middle School.
This action follows a report made by Child Protective Services regarding allegations of inappropriate sexual statements made to a juvenile student by a school administrator.
Upon receiving the report, the Shreveport Police Department conducted thorough forensic interviews with several juvenile victims. During these interviews, two victims disclosedincidents of assault.
As a result of these findings, a warrant was issued on May 29, 2024, for two counts of Molestation of a Juvenile against 59-year-old Charles Powell. On May 30, 2024, Powell was arrested by Shreveport Police Sex Crimes Detectives.
