SHREVEPORT, La — Shreveport Police Officers responded to two shootings last night within 15 minutes of one another.
On Monday, July 1, 2024 at 9:28pm the Shreveport Police Department responded to the 500 block of E. 84th in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, SPD Officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand. That male was transported to Ochsner LSU Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
While officers were working this scene they received a call at 9:45pm to respond the the Enclave Apartments on Grimmett Drive for another shooting.
Upon arrival, SPD Officers located a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body; shoulder, hip and leg. That male was immediately transported to Ochsner LSU Hospital to be treated for life threatening injuries.
