SHREVEPORT, La — A teen mortally injured in a motor vehicle incident in Shreveport’s Mooretown neighborhood Wednesday, June 5, 2024, has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s office.
Pedestrian Timothy Adams of Shreveport, 16, was mortally injured when he was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 70th Street and Kennedy Drive.
He was transported to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at 2:59 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2024.

The incident remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department.
An autopsy was ordered.
